Glorious sunshine!

For all the visitors who came down this weekend - beds were in short supply as people sought accommodation - it's been really lovely.  Warm warm weather - around 18-20C and just lovely - primroses, daffodils, magnolias - everywhere the countryside is bursting.

Just gorgeous.  Long may it last!

Rolls Royce

We hear that there's an annual pilgrimage to the former home of Mr Royce with a large number of vintage Rolls Royce having a rally to his house.

Think it will be  mid-April and are trying to find out more....watch this space!  Should be quite a sight!

Itchenor is a family club based in Chichester harbour.  We offer one design racing in dinghies and keel boats and have an active cruising section.  We have a professionally run clubhouse with accommodation, bar and great food.  Throughout the year there is a range of social activities and training courses.

GETTING AFLOAT AND RACING

There will be club racing for: Mirrors, International 420, RS200, RS800, K6, Swallow, Sunbeam and XOD.  If you would like the opportunity to sail in our regular Sunday morning racing, or try one of the classes, please contact the office by noon Friday 14 May to make a reservation.  The first class start is at 10.30am.

There will be opportunities for adults and children to view the racing from a spectator boat, please come prepared with waterproofs.  Life jackets will be available.

There's a wealth of things to do in the Chichester Harbour area - from paddling on the huge sandy beach at West Wittering, taking a harbour tour from Itchenor, exploring the coastline, walking in the Downs, heading into Chichester or visiting one of the many local museums.

Goodwood offers plenty of entertainment with Glorious Goodwood, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
